i love watamote a lot but also i get uncomfortable with nerd dudes being into it because it feels like a work that makes you really vulnrable if you’re a girl who relates to tomoko on any level in a way i don’t think a dude can

i wont go into details since a lot of stuff about watamote is touchy stuff but i have to agreealmost everything she experiences is something very focused on ~being girly~ and liking it is just..its okay but..the thing with tomoko is that you cant always agree with her or her mindsetshe isnt the protagonist everybody lovesshe has huge flaws that are destructive to both her and everybody around herbuther experiences hits home and i enjoy it for its honesty about these types of thingsexept for the more dirty parts i guess
